PAINTINGS
For the majority of the dot paintings, I painted them on a grid. Aspects such as this grid I can control. Color patterns dictated by random number tables I can’t. The goal is imagery that tests this tension and balance between structure and chance, an image that at any one moment can feel very static yet doesn’t allow the eyes to stop wandering because of the visual movement.

In this series I left the grid, let go of the structure and went rogue.
